Free insurance offer on Fabia's

Featured Replies

So for the month of September, up until the 30th, you can get free insurance on Fabia's as long as they're registered before the 30th.

So anyone who has ordered a car this month, but won't have a built car until after the 30th, is going to miss out on this offer.

Does anyone else feel short-changed by this?

Isn't the fact that I've ORDERED the car in September enough? It's not entirely my fault that the car won't be registered until Nov / Dec (aside from the fact that I've ordered a car with extras, but you get where I'm coming from)

Do you think Skoda UK would make exceptions?

I asked my dealer to make sure my car is ready by the 30th and he hadn't heard of this offer. He is currently thinking about it as believes it may not relate to a zero percent pcp deal. But yeah I agree with your thoughts!!

Dealer just got back to me and said its not valid with the other promotion of zero percent pcp!

These offers are aimed at getting rid of current stock that's why they have to be delivered by a certain date, it's an incentive to take a car already made and allocated.

That makes perfect sense. Thanks for opening my eyes!

Hi all, I actually took this free insurance deal on a car that was at port. The dealers haven't heard about it because it's very new (or mine was offering free insurance if I took non-skoda 6% finance.. eh no). Only came about at the beginning of this month according to the people in the skoda insurance call centre.

I would get a new dealer in that case because it can only be used with Skoda's 0% PCP. They are telling you porkies. You don't even arrange it through the dealer but direct with Skoda Insurance.

I was surprised when I seen it but it really is a legit deal.

Yea good question, I need to ring them. I found out through Mr.Oni and of course passed the info onto you Rob! But I too will feel a bit short-changed if they refuse as I've ordered and paid my deposit too!

If you can have both 0% finance and your car is plated up before 30th Sept, regardless of whether it was an ordered car or from stock, you should definitely be getting free insurance!

These dealers need to play fair really and be a but more consistent in what they offer. Any incentives set by Skoda UK ought to be honoured in every showroom if they consider themselves to be an official dealer.

As I read the Skoda UK website there are two offers for the Fabia.

1 - 0% skoda Finance PCP if ordered by 30th of September

OR

2 - Free insurance and servicing if registered by 30th of September only with 7.4% Skoda Finance PCP.

It looks as if you can pick one or the other if your car is to be registered this month..

It seems that Oni has had a different offer! And, a complete RESULT!

Yeah my dealer had nothing to do with the free insurance. Saved me 1500 quid as its parked on a street in a part of London that's usually on fire.

Ah I think it's because you had your backside physically in it by the 30th Sept. I guess then, for those of us who won't see a car until Oct/Nov it's never going to happen. Boo!
