I'm sure there used to be a dedicated section for dashcam footage and questions? Did I imagine that or did it disappear?

How are people wiring in their cameras permanently? That is, not using the 12v socket. I've seen solutions which replace the whole cable & end with bare ends which presumably go onto a blade fuse, and another which plugs into the obd port.
