Elec Front Seats...

Featured Replies

Does anyone know for sure whether the SE L Exec has electrically adjustable front seats?

The Configurator says no, but a different list I have found of whats on each spec says yes!

Many thanks.

Certainly the drivers was in the sel's at dealer launch I went to

But I suppose they could have been added as option

Just checked latest brochure and it is driver's seat only passenger is 550 option

According to the brochure....just the drivers seat.

Reading the brochure I got from the dealer near me the other day it would seem that only the drivers seat is electrically adjustable on the SEL Exec, the front passenger seat has manual adjustment. This is unlike the S11 Elegance where both front seats were electrically adjustable. It looks like getting both seats electrically adjustable is a cost extra. I was not particularly impressed!

Many Thanks all.

That's cleared it up for me.

I'd rather have manual seats and manual hatch and not have to pay for things like front parking sensors and lane assist. I've had several cars with elec seats and found them slow to adjust. Although I do have the same seat height and seat back position as my wife so there's not much adjustment required when we swap cars, therefore we don't get as much benefit from seat memory as some might.

I am really glad I have elec seats with memory in my Octy.

Im 191cm, and my Gf is 157cm, so we have absolutely nothing in common regarding seat and mirror position. But its all solved with the press of a button :)

The true benefit of the electric seats is the adjustment is much better (lumbar support for one) the memory is just an added extra... although still useful.

To be honest whilst I have elec. seats on both front seats on my mk11, the passenger seat controls get little use. As my wife and I have quite different driving seat positions, the memory settings linked to the keys are very useful. I would happily trade the electric passenger seat for electric adjustment of the steering wheel and interior mirror!

Optional electric passenger seat is just another example of where Skoda are once again pushing back on standard equipment and moving more towards brands like Audi where you have to pay for most equipment. Having said that, Audi standard equipment levels are getting much better now which would lead you to question where Skoda are going with the brand?
