Time has come to say goodbye to the DPF, Anyone recommend a Bristol Bath area provider ?

Featured Replies

Ok now reached 133k on the clock and starting to regen more often than I eat a hot meal... On a drive back from Exeter last weekend (towing caravan) I managed to only get a max of 25mpg, I used to get around 36mpg when I first got the vehicle a year or so ago. So although I do have a spare low miles dpf sat in my garage, I think I'd like to try a year without to see what the difference everyone is talking about. So on that basis I'm looking for a fairly local garage/company/person that can do the physical removal of the DPF and adjust as required (wink) and adapt the software to remove the dpf regen feature from the Bosch ecu. I am NOT looking to enhance the performance other than cure a problematic component, so any thoughts on who where and when etc... Around Bristol and Bath would be useful.

I'd be looking for a Shark (forum sponsor) approved outlet.

Check out their website, hopefully there will be one near you.

Shark did my 07 plate PD Octavia Vrs, what a difference it made, the car pulled better, breathed better I bet the car thought it had new lungs fitted

Pulled harder and smoked very little

Total transformation

Avon tuning near thornbury are very good

There isnt a local shark dealer

We may be the nearest Shark Dealer??

Approx 2 hours from Bristol?

Shark's website lists one in Gloucestershire and one in Wiltshire, not sure how current the page is however.
