The big G12 is a clue

More importantly, why is it below minimum? When did you last check it?

Have a good look around the engine bay for telltale pinkish-white stains. Radiator thermoswitch, that bottom corner of the radiator  and the coolant flange on nearside end of engine head are probably hot favourites for leaky areas.

Top it up with water from the tap to the middle of the bottle.

That's your expansion bottle that holds the engines coolant.

G12/G13 is the coolant you mix with the water.

Little finger when you're trying to work out if your engine is still hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot

I'm 99.9% sure you're not supposed to add water, just the coolant. You can add a little water if you're desperate, but I'm sure it's a last-ditch thing.

Q: What goes in here?

A: Oil, when the head gasket blows.

Now that did make me chuckle

If I could I'd like this I'd like it twice

A weak mix of Ribena... mix it till it's just a light pink colour and pour it in...

I think you'll find the Ribena has been superceded by Vimto now.
