Hi mu felicia 1.3 is having an issue with the gearstick. It is sloppy in every gear except in 5th gear. It feels almost like its always neutral. Any ideas what i need to replace apart from the gear linkage rod because i already changed that. Any photos or details how its done will be appreciated thank you

"Parts" = nuts + bolts + drill ?

There are 4 types of gear linkage selectors fitted to Skoda Felicia according to model and year. To make things more difficult, some exported Felicia have combinations of those 4 types. Only clear photos of your selector could clarify the matter.

 

Doing it yourself usually involves making new rubber and teflon washers. The result won't be perfect because some metal parts could be worn too, but the play will be significantly smaller. It depends on what tools and materials you have access to.
