I'm intrigued by this project thread, what plans have you got in the pipelines? Also do you have any photos of the whole car? Keep up the good work. :)

So how you aiming for 400bhp? vr6 clutch wont handle that unless your planning further change

What turbo you going for?

  • Author

The most simple way i have seen it on a octavia vrs mk1 standard 1.8t from bulgaria the guy just added manifold, cai and injectors from an audy tt 225 bhp had it intalled went on a dyno for 3 runs straight 223bhp without remap or any other modifications , things they possible just u need to speak with the right people and use the right parts where u need them !

70k on the clock and already the mechanics worst nightmare clutch and timing belt kit in the same week :) been replaced at 32k the standard timing belt but i can not risk it anymore regarding now i have 75 more bhp then the standard !

Andrei

Not sounding dismissive but you wont get 223bhp without remap, with a remap you could surpas those figures retaining standard mk1 vrs turbo/mani/injectors. Also how are you now running 255bhp (75bhp over standard) Also can you elaborate on getting to 400bhp! What turbo etc

I thought regardless what injectors you use, you need to tell the ecu to add more fuel through the injectors or it will still be Adding the same? quote me if I'm wrong.

After all the comments about g60 conversion going wrong i can say mine went good and smooth the only thing needed replaced in the progress was the slave cylinder , as the pedal was sticking to the floor in 1st 2nd and reverse ! The car feels so much better now and even in 2nd gear at 5500 revs wont have a wheel spin, gears feels so precise and the short shifter does make a lot of difference ! so happy days another succesful day at the garrage !
