Uber partners

Featured Replies

This might a touchy subject with some drivers, hopefully we can have a adult conversation about it,

They go live in Glasgow this coming Friday and I've signed up to partner with them and will be ditching my base radio,

Start up £150 bonus

£10 gauarnteed per hour

£1 bonus for every job you complete

I'm a technology kinda guy and can't see past them, app looks great, business is clearly doing well with a valve of $50 Billion.

Anyone any experiences with them?

I'm interested to hear how Uber goes in Glasgow.

BTW you didn't happen to be parked up in a layby on the Kingsway earlier today?

Potentially was me.

Uber is going fantastic in Glasgow since I posted this message, I've been using my mates car as my plates are South Lanarkshire and uber vehicles need to be Glasgow. Only working away part time nightshift but it's great,

Got an Uber last Saturday night (missed last train...) from Garrowhill to Cathcart - guy didn't have a Scooby - I had to direct him but as I'd spent the evening in the boozer I must've forgotten to tell him to take the 74 and exit at Polmadie - ended up going via Carmunnock, which added a few miles to the journey (and a few quid to the fare!).

should have got onto there customer service,

most of the storys now a days are about drivers not having a clue and driving the wrong way up 1 way streets etc

hate to say it for as many good drivers they have theres 3 times as many with no clue. then again they take anybody lol

I lasted 2 months working with them, wasn't for me. The start up pitch was fantastic, the launch was fantastic but paying them 25% commission and getting next to no tips wasn't fantastic. Back with radio base

I gave the guy two quid - not that he deserved even that!
