theres quite a few on here that have a "VRS" plate... i dont think its naff in anyway, its personal choice to be honest, mine was a xmas pressie from the better half but i wouldnt have said no if she'd asked if i wanted one.

Yep, £80 to transfer to another car (IIRC) and £25/year to keep on retention if it's NOT on a car.

If you buy from anywhere other than the DVLA, watch out, coz the quoted prices are normally + the transfer fee (£80) + vat, where as the dvla prices are inclusive

best advice is to buy from the DVLA there price "should" include the

Bought my son a private plate for his 21st birthday, & was at least £200 cheaper buying from DVLA.

My wife has just bought me a private number plate from the DVLA for my Octy vrs.

We got B** VRS, and every one thats seen it thinks it looks cool.

If you go on the DVLA web site you can try the plate you want on a silver fabia vrs.

Nowadays the DVLA do not normally transfer your old number to another car. When you come to sell the car and want to transfer your private plate to your new one they will usually allocate the old number back to your old car. So my advice is dont do as I did and throw away your old plates. Cost me another
