DPF removal doesnt fail an MOT, mine was removed before I bought my car and ive put it through 3 MOT's since - all in different garages with no problems at all.

 

I am wondering what will happen when my car goes in for recall after January? will Skoda see that the DPF has been romoved? will they care? is it likely to cause me problems?

What car do you have and what's the recall for? Do you know if your car is effected by the VW dieselgate scandle?

you will loose the map so yes it will cause you problems as skoda will update the software.

 

Contact the place which mapped your car and tell them its going in for a recall so will most likely loose the map and could they put it back on. This is a 5 minute job.
