first service soon

Featured Replies

Got my first annual service on Tuesday. (Only done about 4700 miles).

Is there any kind of adjustment I can ask for  that should make the gear change a bit less clunky? (E.g. a clutch adjustment?)

Its probably because the clutch hasnt really loosened up yet- youve done less than 5K miles

My brothers BMW 320 diesel clutch was absolutely awful to use for about 6K - then it loosened up and was much nicer to use.

Hope this helps!

Very impressed with first service (which indeed was free.)

Car feels and looks better than new. (Full clean up inside and out.) Gear change feels smoother but that might be my imagination.

Only gripe was it took two and a half hours instead of the 30 or 40 minutes I'd been told.

Still, lots of free tea and coffee, TV to watch, papers to read, and a handy toilet !!!
