Morning all, this week my gear lever has gone from being quite a nice change, to stiring a bowl of porridge!!

I can still drive the car, just have to be very careful. I'm guessing that a spring has come off the selector somewhere which is why the gear lever is " floppy "

Is this an easy fix ?

Should have mentioned, 1.9 TDI manual scout.

It may be your cables have gone out of alignment.
