I can see 1,2 listed on skoda.ie and 1,4 on .co.uk

Just wondering will Iirsh dealers order 1,4?

The 1.4 is on the Irish configurator, might only be available in style trim mind.

I have tired to build a hatchback and combi with all three specs and cannot see 1.4 as an option. 

 

Am I missing something? 

What spec level are you looking at?

Was looking last week for my dad and it was there for style spec, can't remember if it was for active or ambition.

I checked all spec levels and both combi and hatchback, but no luck.

No you are not going mad I'm getting the same, there is a lot that has gone missing, don't know whether it is just a temporary glitch or they are dropping the bigger petrols altogether. My 1.8 is not listed either, they dropped it in style but it was in L&K a couple of weeks ago.

From what I see you can get the 1.4TSI in Combi but you have to go for the Ambition model. €27K though..

I emailed a 1.4 tsi spec'd octavia to myself last week and no problem but noticed today it has gone from configurator now??also specd a new 2.0tsi /rs 220bhp in metal grey and that also has gone..only giving me the 230hp 2 colour only option now...yet online brochure still giving me my 220hp tsi.. metal grey option...cmon Skoda whats going on in the configurator.may be time to change brands!..i hear VW calling about a gti..

A VW ??!!  Well, there's no exclusively Skoda office in Ireland! Office is the VW Group Office. They create the Skoda website ( or at least, make brave attempts to ! ).  There doesn't seem to be many (any?) technically proficient people in there. I'd say that covers VW as well as Skoda!    The Accessories section of the website, for instance, hasn't got Fabia 3 Combi yet. Just Fabia 2 Combi.  And Fabia 3 Hatch accessories only recently appeared. (I bitched at their VW Group "customer satisfaction person" about this, when they rang looking for their "Extremely Satisfied" kudos for my Skoda-buying experience. )  But they have deleted the Fabia 2 Hatch - which seems a bit tight - lot of Fab 2 cars out there, that owners might be interested in getting kit for. (The ones who don't know about Superskoda, or SkodapartsIreland, or eBay, or.... !) .

 

Ok. Rant over (though I could go on!).  :-)

Correction..meant change from rs to a gti or even a seat cupra..of course could go mad altother and look at Fords...just am ranting at lack of options now here according to Irish configurator..regarding petrol models that is..i am well aware Skoda are part of the.VAG group..as are Seat.. Audi ..etc..
