Windscreen reflections

Featured Replies

The dashboard of my new Citigo has annoying reflection of the demister grill in the windscreen, has anyone else experienced this ???, If anyone is interested I have innovated a way of rectifying this.

Have you tried wearing polarising shades, when safety and light levels permit their use?

I've always gone with the polarising sunglasses, but would be interested in other methods of reducing dash top reflection.

I think the right kind or plastic dash cleaner would give a more matt finish that would help. Anyone use such a thing?

I use a matt finish cleaner, but it doesnt make it any more matt than the dash is already.. It juet doesnt make it shiny and tacky like some cleaners do either.

What do you use mate? Shiny is the problem with reflections and I have found that some plastic trim is more shiny than it would be because of the kind of cleaner (polish?) a dealer has used on it - not a good look. Thanks.

No worries.

It also gets off dirty marks.. Which my local detailer told my mate wouldnt come out of his Fiesta interior.

Sent him a picture of 5 mins work with that stuff. It all came off.

Dno what that weapon of a detailer was using lol.
