Recently moved to Elgin Moray and am looking for recommendations for garages that can Mot my Octavia VRS.

Any suggestions? Or places to avoid?

Autostation at Lhanbryde - nice set up and Audi specialists (not Skoda I know, but at least its VAG).

I bought my vrs from autostation and the boy was a knob, I'd stay clear. I always got my mot and work done at the garage opposite the entrance to RAF Lossiemouth.

I'd suggest a council mot depot

If you are after a dealer, there's Hawco.

Not from the area (family stay up there) but I took my then Fabia vRS mk1 to Hawco with an engine warning light about 2 years ago.

They diagnosed it as a faulty glow plug quickly and sorted me out quickly and efficiently.

Only one experience I found them excellent and a damn sight cheaper than dealers round here in Edinburgh.

Sandy Reid (Elgin MOT centre) in Chanory ind est. across from kwik fit. My car has had every MOT there and never tried to pull a fast one with me.
