What detailing products have you bought today...

Featured Replies

Very nice, Karl! Slightly jealous, but I may try and get one of these this year. A fabia replacement!? What you looking at?

Shame you're not closer Neil, you could of popped over and had a go with it before purchasing!

Looking at an Octavia vRS estate mate. TSI preferably but not a big issue if I can't find one in budget. Have some plans this year so need the bigger car (Not baby related either!!! Hahah).

If not an Octy, possible 330D BMW or C220 Mercedes-Benz. Keeping options open. Unfortunately the Fabia could be past its days engine wise...

That would have been awesome mate! Thanks for the offer! I do like in the back of beyond.

I loved my Octy. They're a decent machine. Quite noisy inside but that's the Skoda trade off for me. The other options sound good. Keep us posted!

Great buys!

Just picked up some products from Angelwax; Heaven For Leather, Stripped-Ease wax remover, Ti-22 Spray Sealant and Enigma Wax! Looking forward to trying them out, although I've used Heaven for Leather before the others are new to me.

Very nice indeed Neil - thats a nice little bundle.

Knowing you - i'm sure you got a nice price too and Matt looked after you!

Of that little lot - i've fancied Ti-22 for a long time; but never purchased.

Enigma looks nice - as do many of the infused waxes at the moment.

Looking forward to your follow-up reviews buddy!

Cheers,
Ste.

I picked up a few bits n bobs recently.....looking forward to testing!

And a couple more.....

KKD Devils Juice

303 Protectant

Various Lake Country CCS pads to try with the Koch Chemie stuff.

Bargain that Wardy!! Let us know how you find it please bud?

Will do @Hunty278 - amazes me how they can do them for that price, delivered!

And having used i6 for bits before, I was happy to take the plunge. Might not have been so keen with a random seller though, on the usual approach of 'you get what you pay for' :)

It's been dispatched anyway, so will find out shortly.

Be interested to hear your thoughts on the Koch products Chubbs. Definitely something I will be looking to use at a later date especially when I get to try out my DA using the Auto Finesse products that it came with!

Thanks for your interest. I used them yesterday very briefly mated to the Lake Country CCS pads I also purchased. Very impressive stuff, great cut and finish, so easy to use and I preferred them over my usual M105 and M205, albeit I'll try the Megs stuff with the Lake Country pads too.

The results in the photo are very quick ones on a beaten up test panel from the scrappers.

Very impressed as always.... ordered yesterday from iShine in the sale.

Delivered in person by Simon before midday today..... top man!!!

Well after buying a cheap spray bottle from eBay to use with powermaxed TFR, the eBay spray bottle was just pants  so purchased from PolishedBliss (ordered on Monday & received today) Fast & efficient service from them  a Mesto 1.5L spray bottle (EPDM) version PH 7-14 for use with powermaxed TFR, I wasn't sure what version to buy, the acid version PH 1-7 so I thought there is no acid in the TFR? So ended up buying the PH 7-14 version along with AF Lather shampoo, hopefully I have the correct Mesto version B) looking forward to trying it out...roll on the weekend

Nicely done. They're not cheap those are they? But you get what you pay for with that sort of thing I reckon

Totally agree.

Just to add; i've never used the Mesto version; but got the Kwazar Venus product about 18 months ago?

Very nice kit, still going strong and no issues to report. Just as an alternative i thought worthy of a mention.

Cheers Karl  I've always wanted to try the AF lather shampoo so hopefully will enjoy using it.

The 500ml is just shy of £12.00 & the 1 litre £20.00 with the 5 litre £35.00 I suppose when you compare the prices of all these the 5 litre doesn't seem that bad but to shell out £35.00 in one hit can be.

£25-£30.00 seems about the right price in the market for 5 litres of shampoo so £35.00 for AF lather seems to be at the top end of price.

Couldn't agree more. It's certainly at the top end price wise. Most of the AF stuff is but I like they're products Alot.

:D me too mate, I guess you could say "I'm a bit of a AF fanboy" :giggle: :D B)
