Hi guys I have just brought a Vrs octavia and think its great, just reading your meessages bout security and noticed that a few people have mentioned that there is a red light next to the door pins that flashes when the dead locks are on. Is this on all Vrs or just the new ones??? Mine is a 51 plate does this have it on as i didn`t spot it when i brought it. P.S don`t pick it up till friday CARN`T WAIT CARN`t SLEEP... Yours should have them. The car you're buying may have had the deadlocks deactivated at the time. If you press 'lock' on the remote twice it turns them off. After you've unlocked, lock again normally and the dead locks are reactivated (flashing light).
