Dealer parts discounts

Featured Replies

Be nice if a dealer came along and offered Briskodians a parts discount like the 2 Seat ones on Cupra net.

Just think acces to nearly 8000 Skoda owners. Must be good for trade.

is that the sound of hell freezing over?

Nice thought, Black MAgic. However, I'm with Gwilo on this one.

Shame Skoda UK don't look at sites like this the same way other VAG Group brands do, as then we could rely on their support.

Given the fact that Skoda UK aren't Briskoda fans, a dealer probably wouldn't be allowed to do it. Even if one did start it, they would probably get leaned on to pull out.

(Moved to more appropriate area :) )

We used to have a 10% deal with Horner's Manchester, or rather, with the then Service Manager there.

I don't see why dealers wouldn't be able to offer parts discounts...AFAIK dealers buy their parts off Skoda, so if they want to sell them at twice the price/at a discount/give them away, it's up to them as it's their business (in every sense of the word).

A lot of dealers offer parts discount to trade anyway...

I know this is a bit of an old thread - but here's my views.

Dealerships are franchises , and as said previously they do offer parts to the trade at a discount price. I did't think it is up to Skoda who the dealers offer the parts to at a discount price. For this to work a dealer with a good mail order service would have to get involved. Are there any out there that offer mail order?

Buttco used to also have a trade price catalogue (and probably still do). Has anyone ever approached them to see if they can do a discount scheme for Briskoda members.? At least they already have the logistics in place.

All bar one of the 6 dealers I have used used to give me a 10% discount on parts or in the case of a service, the whole bill
