Another vRS question

Featured Replies

Would be interesting to hear what the car sounds like without the noise generator thingy, when giving it a bit of grief, as I tend to only put in ECO when I'm stuck in rather boring traffic speeds.

I've not had mine long but to be honest I do like the generator sound, thought at first it was actually the car, lol, but its a bit of a con isn't it.

Would be worth hearing what the standard engine noise sounds like but I guess its probably not that exciting (Sacrilege!) lol and less theatre, as its been put.

Sounds like any other 4 cylinder engine when the sound generator is disabled.

The problem with sport is the constant revving of the engine

have you tried a new superb in sport mode DSG.  Work perfectly, doesn't hold the gears till after it runs out of power and if you throttle back it actually changes up rather than screaming the engine.  Its how the octavia should have been setup and I was gutted when I tried it and that mine doesn't do it!
