Anything under 10 is quite reasonable, especially when a little damp and there's traffic about.

'kin 'ell, that's almost 2 minutes faster than my best time. You can see how smooth he is, and the good clean lines he takes. He does get very high on one kerb, about 3 minutes in, but he's very calm and gets right back on with it. All credit to him, he makes great use of the tool he has.

Ye very smooth.

I made a comment on his vid and asked what setup he's got...standard with just egr delete. Rarb and federal rsr tyres.. lol

Ah right cheers.

Does do well then for a standard VRS :)

Ah, that explains it, everyone knows that the EGR delete gives you at least 50 BHP...

Tyres probably take off 30 seconds a lap, everything else equal. Semi slicks give so much grip

Great video! I shat myself doing half those speeds around there last year! Its quick for a standard VRS.......................................

  • 4 weeks later...

Thought I'd pop my head in haha.

Cheers for the comments chaps, really appreciate it. It's not a bad little car at all tbh. Tyres have made a huge difference.

Had it confirmed at the time it was standard. It's now running a fmic and about 180hp. Was amusing overtaking much quicker stuff in my little fabia haha

No worries.

Was waiting for you to pop in. Lol

What tyres were you running?

So we should be seeing you on these track days then?

Running it on Federal 595 rsr's.

Booked onto Bedford on the 29th feb and do a lot of days at Curborough (got a video on my channel of a big spin i had yesterday haha). Thinking of going back to RenaultSport though. Miss my clio and really fancy a Megane R26

Top driving , enjoyed that,

Tyres make all the difference. I love my 595s

Are there 2 versions of them?

Some are described as semi slick and some aren't. The 595 rsr

Not as far as I'm aware.

Perhaps the cheaper ones are just older stock.

Rsr is the semi slick.

There are normal 595 too, but I was referring to the rsr
