Those with a BKD engine and access to VCDS

Featured Replies

I'm after a little help here guys - I'm trying to work out if the torsion adjustment is a definitive fix for the judder that many seem to experience on their BKD based cars, whether that be in skoda/audi/vw/seat. If you have one of these engines could you copy and paste this little section out and add your own answers to it?

Judder : Yes/No

Year:

VCDS Group 4

Engine Idle Speed :

Injection Duration :

Torsion Value :

VCDS Group 15

Engine Torque :

Fuel Consumption :

If you could do the above with no power consumers on, and then engine up to temperature I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you :)

You might get a better response on this by trying it in the dedicated VCDS thread too?

i was told when i enquired about the judder that it was the fly wheel causing the problems! i have vcds and will pull the section for you at some stage. on another note any ideas on coding a ccm unit?

I don't mate! There are plenty of knowledgeable people on here that would though! The dealership aren't playing ball with the car, keep replacing bits and declaring it fixed only for me to drive it away with exactly the same thing happening again!

Have made a thread in the VCDS forum as per the suggestion of silver :)
