Any superb around peterborough( cambridshire)

Featured Replies

Hi, looking for person ho have superb mk II 2.0 tdi pd(140) in Peterborough or around Peterborough, . I think it's something wrong with my car(power) and just want to take another same car for short test drive( for check how its drive) . My one till 2000rpm no power( for me looks like no power) then from 2000 till 2500 much better and from 2500 fine:) turbo looks good, MAP sensor changed, MAF changed, maybe timing maybe injectors, or maybe for this heavy car must be like this) so if anyone have, and can helps me, be nice:)

Get a new fuel filter (Mann), fill it up with Shell Vpower Nitro+ and kick it on the motorway a bit, I would say dirt in the turbo/injectors.

I tried it:( I do dpf regeneration 2 times,( wash, clean engine with water:) from inside:) drive 20 miles 3 gear 3500rpm its not help:( just after all this jobs engine much more quite:)

Ehm,

Not 100% correct, but isn't it at 2000RPM when the turbo activates, so you actually generate more power than a mowlawner?

I remapped my Skoda Superb II 140 PD, gained about 50-55HP, It's at 190-195hp right now. It's WAY quicker than it used to be, and it doesn't have the "low power" feeling at low RPM's anymore due to the turbo activating quicker now.

I suggest a remap for anyone with any kind of a car, they really make the driving more enjoyable. and quicker :)

Till 2000rpm for me it's look like no power, I am not sure, maybe this car must be like this, but... I drive plenty different cars( vw , seat, audi, ) and they drive much more better till 2000 rpm, but superb is much more heavier( so I and looking same car for try:) because maybe it's fine .just I am looking problems :):)

P.S. where( wich) company do remap for your car?

I live in Finland, there was a company that sold Celtic-Tuning remaps, I used that.

I have to say, when it started spinning the wheels on 3rd gear it did feel quite amazing :D

About what rpm on 3 gear its starts spinning?:) till I not changed shells, piston rings and head gasket I don't do remap( my skoda have 160k miles:) so I don't want risk to ****** engine:) I got it very cheap( so I can rebuild engine) but first I want find out or it's must be so limpi till 2000 or no:)

I don't really remember, I just know the pedal was on the medal :D

Don't worry about the engine breaking or anything for the remap, the remap only helps for better. The only thing that could break after a remap, is if you have a heavy foot on the gas haha :p

EDIT : I have rougly 150k KM on my car :P

Last owner off car, fits turbo from170 bhp:) so more lagging from there, wrong injectors adjusted, and camshaft worn. After spending 2 weeks, I find and fixed it:)
