Due to my new car arriving, I need to sell this weekend.  I've dropped the price by £300 and am willing to negotiate.  This is an AMAZING amount of car for the money. 

 

 

If you're after an Elegance, then you probably know all about the huge spec, so I won't detain you on that; suffice it to say that the car is fully loaded and comes with a space-saver spare wheel. It is a 1.8TSi manual Elegance twindoor in Black Magic Pearl, first registered in June, 2009, but now on a "dateless" Northern Irish plate.  The navigation is V12 (2015) and accepts 7-digit postcodes.

 

 

I bought the car just over three years ago from a Toyota main dealer with FSH and 57000 miles on the clock.  The one previous owner was a company director.  Despite the "stealth" look of the car, I drive it very moderately and look after it meticulously.  The car has had a re-map, which I can have removed if you would prefer; you would need to delay collection of the car, though.  The map has NOT affected my insurance and has made the car VERY sweet to drive above 3500rpm, giving a classic twin-cam effect.  The current mileage is 100650, with very little urban driving. I'm a 53-yr-old Head of English, no boy-racer, trader or taxi-driver. If you email me, I can send you redacted scans of my CRB-check, passport, latest MOT and V5C document. You can have total peace of mind, both about the car and me. 

 

 

In the time I’ve had the car it has been faultlessly reliable and an absolute joy to drive.  It has very recently had a major service and a new battery and comes with 10 months MOT and 8 months tax.   Prior to this, I have had the oil changed every 10,000 miles and all essential maintenance done as required.  I have regularly used BK-44G fuel system cleaner, the ONLY additive which is approved by VW.  The car drives perfectly and returns c.35-36mpg in mixed driving.  

 

 

In the summer of 2014, I replaced the worn standard alloys with an after-market set from a Golf GTi, giving a more purposeful appearance.  I also re-badged it with the new Skoda black and chrome badging.  I replaced the steering wheel badge but this will not be to everyone’s taste.  Please examine the picture carefully to see if you are OK with the change.  If not, I will order you (at my expense) the original part which you can have fitted later.  

 

 

In terms of condition, the interior (black leather) is first-class and is a very special place to be. Externally, there are just a few blemishes, as follows: a 4-inch painted scratch to the passenger door; a 2-inch painted scratch to one of the C-pillars and some kerbing and scuffing of the front O/S alloy.  Apart from that, the car looks wonderful.  

 

 

I am selling only to get another Superb – the cars are of staggering quality for the money.

It's a performance re-map done by Midland Re-Maps of Wolverhampton; besides that, I can't tell you much.  It's taken it up to 202BHP and it absolutely flies when it gets to 3500+rpm.  No addition to my insurance either.

Well... virtually no demand so I've had to let it go for £4000!  I can hardly believe I've just typed that...
