As above, moved seat so Dad could take car for MOT. would not stay in a position, buttons doing what they want... does not remember presets, totally out of control.. moves when driving.

Have followed procedure in manual for setting a position but seems to not have any affect.

Can someone advise if they know about similar problems and the likely cost to fix.

Had a scan done not so long ago from a chap on here and it did flag up a seat issue if I recall.... maybe you are reading this and could advise?

Driving me round the bend... dont want to have to drive vrs as it will bankrupt me.

Ok so after finding another thread with similar issues, Does anybody with vcds or the relevant software fancy doing a scan/ reset for me? If it fails I will hassle the dealer...

You could try disconecting the memory buttons switch by pushing it up from the seat and disconnecting the cable to see if that helps as it could be a faulty switch. But a vcds should identify the exact problem.

Any probs with any electrical stuff on the seat let me know, I have spare buttons and control box that I'll sort you cheap.

Will pop switches out later & report back... think a vcds purchase is wise come payday
