Just a question to those with the ventilated seat option.... Are they worth adding?

Any feedback welcome as I'm just finalising my options list.

I've ordered them, had them on my previous E class to the one I have now and they were great in the summer, no more sweaty back on a hot summers day! (in the UK you probably will only use them onece or twice a year)

I have had them for nearly four years on my L&K and yes they are worth it in the summer or even just warmish days.

Probably not a must-have option, but nice if you can afford it. I had them in my Superb II and now the Superb III.

You can now use the ventilation in combination with the seat heating, which was something that the Superb II manual advised against. The ventilated seats in the Superb II always felt like a bolt-on option, now they're much more integrated.

Having used the heated seats these last couple of evenings they seem far more effective than I remember in the older model.

So at least now you can combi-cook your testies rather than just freeze or bake!

I've opted for heated alcantara. Much easier to maintain (any foam cleaner works) than a perforated leather.
