Turns out the headlights wasnt a good buy,probably why they were'nt advertised on there own,instead of coming to light on someones wanted post...as homer would say 

What was the problem with them?

I have a Mk1 so I may have missed the point in an earlier post ....maybe

Aahh ok say no more

Looking good Ross - great progress mate! 

No real progress,just led in number plate but too bright for my liking...leds in the doors.

And a day off,had friends from Dubai come stay,so we took them to see snow.

 

 

 

Another update nothing special.

 

Ordered this to try,used on the golfs in warmer climates.

 

A dipstick snapped the lugs  :p

 

 

And few other bits.

N/S/R door lock [fixed]

Aircon leak [fixed] 

Rear shocks [fixed]

Possible wheel bearing [fixed]  

Blocked rear jet [fixed] Wiper motor now packed up 

Wiperblades [fixed]

Rear taillight bulb error fault [fixed]

EGR and throttlebody cleaned[do this to all my new cars]

Rear brake shields fell off(fixed)

Heater has a mind of its own(wasn't broken,when reversing flap close's to stop fume's entering cabin)

Job done today -2 very cold

 

I thought it had snapped.

warranty people said it wasnt.so its wear and tear.muggins had to do it.

Changed the wheel bearing during dinner.

 

And a sidelight was out so in went LEDS,previous owner had been here before.

Hmmmmmm tempted....

Number plate leds failed.were to bright and only cheap.

Bought these to try £12!!! 

Fronts have started to flicker too...looking for replacements.

Led's fitted still very bright.going to mark with tape.to see if  can deflect the light off the floor and bumper.

 

Anyway more part's arrived rear discs!
