When we ordered our new Combi, Jungle Green , I asked the salesman what colours they had sold the most - Black, White and then Grey was their answer. Generally the most popular colours here in Sweden at least. The colour of our present Superb is Amethyst and apart from having difficulties explaining what that colour is when asked by friends we have only had positive remarks. I guess we don't mind being different.

 

An interesting comment made by the salesman was that when they had the Amethyst coloured Superb in the showroom they sold that colour but as soon as it was removed potential buyers were reluctant in choosing it - "Purple, no I don't think so".

I guess this might just prove to be the case with Jungle Green also.

My comment to the salesman was that in both cases at least for us the colours shown on the Internet and the printed catalogues didn't do justice to either colour. Sure glad we had the opportunity to see both in daylight and out of the showroom at the time we made our final decision. These colours grow on you.

 

Jungle Green for me, but then yes, that is what we have chosen. :sun:

I've just ordered mine today in the same colour. As I'm not taking delivery until April I hope the OP doesn't mind if I keep coming back to these pics to keep me going!

My current lease deal ends mid April so I've ordered it for delivery then. I haven't chased a build week yet as I'm hoping 4 months should be just about right.

We will soon be driving our Jungle Green L&K. Hopefully it will look as good as the car in the photos above.

 

Spoke to the salesman yesterday and agreed to a pick up next week on Friday. We will first have the car "paint protected" as well as "leather protected".

 

This Easter weekend has kind of added an extra delay but personally I don't mind since we will be able to drive the car out of the showroom on summer tyres.

These were the comments by the owner of the Mr. Cap (car care and styling) franchise where our car is undergoing some special TLC. He also made some very positive comments about the new look of the Superb - "crisp and sharp" and "looking premium".

 

Our new car was delivered to Mr. Cap with all the white "plastic" still on. The best way prior to treatment according to them.

 

The car will be delivered back to the dealer tomorrow and hopefully we can pick it up on Friday afternoon.
