Few days ago, I was in my car in a parking with the engine running when i noticed that the fan started working for just few seconds (10 seconds) and then stopped for 3 min and started again for 10 sec and stopped for 3 min and .....

 

Is this normal ?

Sorry you have had no reply to this as yet. The fan should come on if engine coolant too hot, then cut out as its cooled. Sounds like its just "Doing its job" 

 

Just as long as the car isn't overheating, I wouldn't worry.
