Oh Oh!....I had a pair of gloves like that when I had an MGB 40 years ago.

Had a pair almost the same when I started driving 52 years ago, all vehicles did not have heaters as standard in those days, my first car was passed down to me by an Aunt, an Austin A40 Devon. In the winter you needed gloves, but things have improved these days. But I have often thought of getting another pair, just to be different and remember the good old days.

Hate to admit it but I still have a pair of fur lined black leather gloves in the garage although I haven't used them since I had my Cobra. No heater apart from 5.7 litres of V8 ...

I'm still wearing string-back driving gloves, an Xmas gift 3 years ago! 

 

Very useful back in the days of wooden steering wheels in winter.
