Sold - laguna Coupe GT 3.0dci V6 Auto 235bhp 450nm 4WS

Featured Replies

Sold. Thanks for looking :)

Bit of a rare beast this one, for sale is my Laguna Coupe.

Fitted with the 3.0 V6 turbo diesel engine, which makes 235bhp and 450nm of torque as far as I can tell there are less than 50 of these in the UK. (Just so you know it’s not the horrible old Renault V6 lump from the old espace but this is the same V9X engine as fitted to Diesel Infiniti’s and some of the big Nissan SUVs). It’s a peach of an engine!

What makes this even rarer is it is fitted with the Renault “sports” bodykit which I have never seen on another car, it really makes the car in my opinion.

And what makes this really interesting is the 4 wheel steer system that works amazingly well to give a small turning circle at low speed and great agility at higher speeds,

Sadly I have to sell up as my wife has just had our 2nd daughter and I need a big 4 door car.

2 previous owners (so 3 including me)

I’ve owned the car just over 2 years and it has been my commuting car, doing a mix of motorway and A road driving.

Exterior – Great condition with no major dents or scratches, but has the usual stone chips

Interior – Excellent condition – Looks like the drivers seat is the only 1 that has ever been sat in! there is a tear in the side of the base of the drivers seat which is very common on these Renault leather seats. Its got a leather patch stuck over it which sadly doesn’t colour match very well but looks quite neat (see pictures).

Wheels – All 4 tyres have loads of life in them, I think all 4 have some kerb rash on them but nothing too major. I’ve shown a picture below of the worst one (pretty tidy really!).

Servicing – This engine has 18,000 mile or 2 year serving on it. I had it serviced in September about 1500 miles ago so its good for a while. Between services I have had the oil changed.

Service record is as below:

Service – 11-Jan-2011 – 17,764

Service – 06-Nov-2012 – 32,125

Car Purchased by me – 23-Nov-2013 – 42,000

Oil Change – 06-Dec-2013 – 42,345

EGR Replaced – Spring 2014 (under warranty I can’t find the invoice!)

Service – 24-May-2014 - 48,850

Rear Pads & Discs – 28-Aug-2014

New Front Tyres & Tracking – 12-Jun-2015

Oil change – 31-Jan-2015

Service – 18-Sep-2015 – 65,585

Front discs and pads 17-dec-2015

Link to the original brochure (I have a nice paper copy of this I will include with the car). http://www.renault.mk/download/literatura/New_Lag_Coupe.pdf

I am based in Hemel Hempstead and work in Park Royal in West London so the car can be viewed in either place (dependant on time of day).

Priced at £6,895.

Pretty unlikely but I would be interested in Pxing this against a Superb DSG Elegance\L&K with cash your way

Absolutely lovely car - some great lines in the design and as said above the slightly Aston Martin look to the rear - is superb!

thanks for all the nice comments.  Its a great looking car and does get a lot of admiring looks.

Great to drive too the engine has masses if grunt.

If anyone is interested I would be willing to listen to sensible offers too, so hard to price as its the only one I can find for sale!

Just in case it's not powerful enough tdi tuning do a tuning box for £300 that will apparently take this car to over 280bhp!

Can't say I've thought it needed more power but thought I'd mention it just in case anyone was thinking "if only it was closer to 300bhp" or similar

after a few trade in offers and doing a bit more research I may have been a little optimistic with my price so reduced to £6,895ono.  A huge amount of car for the money I think!

Nice!

What's the official MPG on it?

Road Tax?
