What's the main issues I should look out for?

I'd be asking loads of questions about  the DPF to see if it's ok or has been removed/gutted, the PD Engine wasn't designed to run with a DPF.

Has the filtre been gutted and remapped to suit or been removed altogether and then remapped to suit. MIght cause MOT issues as the rules have changed
