Anyone done a HID 6000K Headlight upgrade?

Tempted but heard it can get the wiring harnesses hot on some cars

An aftermarket HID kit in non-projector headlights isn't ideal as the light scatter can cause issues for other road users.

 

Assuming you have these headlights...

 

 

This is why the vast majority of OEM xenon headlights are behind projector lenses, such as the factory fitted bi-xenon's on the vRS...
