Dodgy Dashboard

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone, Hope you had a good Christmas and have a great New Year. My Dashboard works intermittently. I've followed this thread

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/213692-speedo-instrument-cluster-problems-solved/

This looks like the solution however could before I launch into computronic electro car killing mode could anyone please advise on whether it could be the Main Fuses above the battery?

On the two occasions that I've looked at the battery fuses there has been an effect on the dash or it worked again(ish) for a short period.

Does anyone know which Main Fuse serves the instrument cluster?

The instrument cluster fuses in the fuse board look ok (1 & 16 I think) but could they be duff irrespective of appearances?

Thanks for any advice fellow Skoda lovers.

Billy

Is it just the instrument illumination that's going off? I wondered if the dimmer in the headlight switch might be faulty?
