Does anybody else get a faint intermittent electronic noise (a bit like the old dial up modem sound, or sometimes like a phone ringing) when driving their Mk III?

Other people have heard it at the same time as me, just to prove I am not imagining it.

Nope. Have owned mine now for 9 months and 7000 miles.

8 months and 13000 kms, still no odd noises. AFAK....

It does seem a bit like your first recording. I have found your thread and will do some more checking with the throttle setting and see if I have the corregated hose before involving the dealer. Thanks for your help.

I'd be very surprised if your car is making this noise and it does not have the EVAP hose of the aniconic version still fitted.

No, I think that you will find that you are the odd one out here, all the other posters have the latest 1.2TSI 110PS .
