On the Superb 3.6 V6 ( 10 Plate )  Does the 7 speed DSG box need an Oil Change at 40K miles or is it a dry box, sealed for life.

 

Had a search but couldn't fined an answer. ( perhaps not looking in the right place )

I think you will find the 3.6 V6 has the 6 speed DSG and yes it needs the oil changed, well mine did :-)

Yes - as far as I am aware the 3.6 is a 6sp unit (mine is a 2010 model too...) and yes, you need to change the gearbox oil/filter at 40k miles to be safe.

Have a search on here under my posts....a few comments and advice on this. Not an expensive job but well worth the investment.
