Show us your wheel colours!

Featured Replies

I have just bought a vRS SE.

I have decided to get the wheels refurbished. I fancy a change from the standard silver, thinking a grey or anthracite.

Therefore any pictures would be greatly appreciated along with the colour name/type. Doesn't have to be on a SE.

Cheers

Phil

Have a look at my project thread, got a vrs SE myself, picked it up a few weeks back.

Next up (was actually the first thing I done but didn't have any pictures :D) was the alloys. They were pretty trashed when I got the car, the drivers side had went along a high curb so has ruined 90% of the face on the alloy.

Abit of a strange one but here it is!

Inside is shadow chrome, spokes and face is gunmetal grey and all of it got a coat of factory standard silver to brighten it up as I didn't want dark wheels.

Is anthracite a shade darker than that?

Otherwise what is, getting my refurbed some time next year and want them a bit darker than yours on my blue SE

I think the light and different angles really does make a difference when these colours are only a few shades apart in theory.

Thanks again for the ideas and pictures.

Liking this colour combination with a bright/shiny finish if it can be done.

Is that photoshopped or are they really Renault Megane wheels on a vrs...

Brilliantly photoshopped by my gf!

They are off a Clio 182.

My choice of colour at the moment.

Thanks chap.

What colour are the wheels if you remember?

You and your girlfriend both have Fabia SE's?

Legit relationship goals.

My girl has a 206 pergeot she can barley drive bless her, haha!

E/ think I'm sticking with the standard wheels and getting them this kind of colours, anthracite or gunmetal

I may have caused confusion!

I was referring to a guy on here in the thread, Hutchysrs50, who has special edition number 983, and he is also selling his old Fabia.

Although it would be pretty cool if me and my gf had matching SEs!

I am going to stick to my standard wheels and then pick a shade of grey. The grey of the Clio wheels we have photoshopped on to the vRS is my current favourite choice.

I also thought your girlfriend had a Fabia SE :D

If your getting them done professionally like mine, see if they have a showroom, the one I looked in literally had 30+ wheels on display in different shades of grey, anthracite, shadow chrome, gun metal gray etc...

IMO I have the best choice :D when the sun hits them and the car paint goes nice and bright blue the wheels go lighter, but in the shade when the paints darker, the wheels look darker.

I know it's not even a Fabia but Raven Blue doesn't look a million miles apart... this is the Mrs' car with standard silver above and then Anthracite Grey below.
