I eventually convinced myself that I would retrofit a reversing camera on our Superb.

 

I bought a boot handle camera from a Jetta - 5N0827566, a RVC controller - 7N0 907 441 and a cable loom for TV and RVC - 7N1971327B.

 

Even though the cable loom came from a dealer it did not come with a wiring diagram. And the colours are different from what I read in various sites.

It has got some ends without connectors. The colours are 1x Red/white, 1x Brown, 1x twisted Or/brown and Or/purple. I guess R/W is 12v, Brown is earth and the twisted oranges go onto Can-high and Can-low.

 

I also need to buy a connection from the camera to the controller. The connectors are both coaxial males.

I have got 2 questions.

Does anyone know of a link for a wiring diagram for the RVC to Columbus / RNS cable looms?

Does anyone know a part number for coaxial cable.
