Hi my wife drives on a automatic licence and I was thinking about buying her a fabia to replace her 15 year old daihatsu cuore auto never broke down in 3 years of ownership. But starting to rust badly. My question is are the fabia auto's reliable or best avoided. They tick a lot of boxes small five door shopping school drop off kind of car. Looking at the 04 to 06 models.

Ones I've driven seem reliable enough. 

I've had one and a manual too. Both good reliable cars, only problem that almost all Fabias of this age suffer with is the leaking door seals, but its a cheap fix.
