I have driven exactly similar 280 L&K Combi with same symptoms but not as loud as in mine currently with 7000 km, the other one had run only 1000 km. So  based on my experiences I can make conclusion that noise issue exist from brand new and it gets worse after driven more and more miles.

I can't hear any difference from 0 km to 2100 km where I am now.

The fault doesn't appear until after a few to 30 miles though.

I just got an L&K 280. A Skoda director's car with 8500 miles. Just put over 500 miles driving in France and cannot hear any noise even driving on brick roads. Do all of the cars have this issue?

My L&K 280 is a tad noisy in the underground car park at work as the concrete floor has a sort of washboard effect and it produces a definite rattle in the rear. I don't notice it out on the road though.

 

The rear suspension on my S2 used to make "ffft" noises when going slowly over speed bumps.

That is my experience too. It is most noticeable when turning 90 degree corners (junctions, exit from driveway etc) at slow speed (10 mph) and when the car components are cold. If there is any irregularity in the road such as sunken drain covers, top surface pot holes etc then it is noticeable even when moving straight ahead at slow speed.

 

Once the car has warmed up then it is rarely noticeable until I round one or two 90 degree junctions at slow speed where the road surface and camber is rough to say the least. I have never noticed it at higher speeds than about 10-15 mph. Strangely it doesn't make any unusual noise when going over sleeping policeman. In layman terms I describe it as sounding like loose exhaust components or the exhaust tapping against the underside left rear of the car.

Got a bit lost in here, anyone without DCC having this issue please?

no noise to report on my SE L Exec 1.4 TSI 150 hatch on 19 Sirrius after 60 miles today

Prior to picking up our car on the 1st April I sent the salesman my own checklist. As a parenthesis to my list I mentioned this noise problem. His answer on the 1st was that he had not heard anything about this. I asked him if "they as a dealer or Skoda"? They were not aware of this problem nor had Skoda sent any technical info about this or raised this in any way. On this rather special day for us I didn´t want to push him further but mentioned that hopefully I would not have this problem.

 

So far after a couple of days mixed driving no "shakes, rattles or rolls".

Have been running the car in Comfort mode since we collected her. No rolling for my part and definitely no shakes or rattles. I think it is very smooth. But again, have only driven 70km so far. It has been a mix of 20, 30, 50, 60, 80 and 100 km/h.

I just went over 1,000 miles since I got the car last week and still no noises from the suspension. Mixture of roads and used all different modes.

Strange that a few don't have it, or doesn't notice it, whatever way it is. Since Skoda has acknowledged the issue.

Maybe it comes later for some. Or some simply doesn't notice it.

I'm glad I have it and notice it. Since the issue is acknowledged by Skoda and they will fix it.

All cars with DCC at least

I've been out to try to replicate this but cannot provoke he car into making any sort of rattle from the rear end whatsoever. Low speed cobbles, bumps, hard corners, nothing. Car is a 190 DSG 4x4 L&K with DCC. Car was bought pre-owned with 7000 miles on the clock from a dealer principal at a Skoda garage.

Doesn't help I know, but definitely nothing from mine. No record of any fixes or maintenance to address it either.

TSI 220 L&K, have some noises from the back when nothing is heard from the front on the same imperfections in the road.  Do I need to inform the dealer or just wait until a fix has been released and then go in and have it sorted.  Not a major problem just have some music on..

I would suggest that you surely inform the dealer, let Skoda factory knows and is aware that this rattle problem is expanding...
