No noise to report from front or back.sat nav surround STILL creaking and driving me mad after two attempted repairs by dealer though! Piano black trim they call it,sounds the buisiness,ive seen the trim when they had removed it,about 1 mm thick,should think it cost about a pound to produce,poor show skoda,crap black plastic for the L&K,much nicer alloy for SEL,wheres the logic in that,hows about a nice bit of real wood like the new volvos have! Sorry for moving off the threads subject!! Kevin.

Does anybody in this thread have some news from your dealer's about the solution for rattle problem? Or, we all are being silently waiting when the "king" Skoda will do something...

My dealer told me there is no fix yet.

The car is horrible to drive, so i use it only when my GF's 2010 Superb isn't available.

First car i really regret - and the most expensive one too.

It's only some sounds under 20 km/h and only when driving over bumps. At least for me. I just love the car. Both how it looks but as much how it feels to drive. Even more now with the summer wheels on.

how you can love new car which gives noises like a 100000 Km on the clock?!?!

i haven't seen any car which became more quietly during it's life

 

even after car got full Sound Deadening(+1k€) i can hear it every day :(

similar as:

 

and interesting, before i thougth there were noises only from rear, but now ~25% comes also from front

I totaly agree. I expect my NEW car to have that new car-feeling, but this one really doesn't. And like you say, it won't get more quiet with time (even when/if they fix this).

And i must agree on the front noise also. + rattles somewhere from lower leftside of the windshield + right side, near passager door (not same place), and these are hard to reproduce, only hear these 'sometimes'.

The gearstick (DSG) feels lose, and sometimes has to be pulled hard to get out of P (i'm always using P-brake)

I think their was a guy who wired a dash cam and he said the wires around the glove box did not have much foam padding on them that could be you rattle in front left!

As I said. I can't almost hear it. And I have very good hearing. Maybe your car is much worse. I haven't used any car that's more quiet than mine. And I've been in some brand new BMWs and Volvos which are premium cars.

dealer accepted there is problem, but can't solve it in 9 attempts(4+ months)

and also can't confirm does Škoda tries to find solution and how many years it will take

Exactly! Skoda is Skoda and nothing else. When I bought this Skoda Superb I thought that Skoda will be improved in terms of tehnical (i.e. suspension) aspects, etc. But, in reality it is the same;(
