Not my pic but pipe work follows same route as stock pipes upto smic and then what you can see in pic hope that helps

That's great. Does look tight but it will have to be.

If I were to fit the IC with the pipe kit and hook it up to the original turbo, whilst I wait for Xman to get my downpipe in, would I be best to buy a 4bar map sensor and fit that, or would the stock 2bar (I think) sensor fit? Basically my mechanic wants to get everything fitted and leave the turbo and exhaust till last.

4 bar map sensor needs calibratinh from what I understand so without a map it wouldn't run on boost

So once I have fitted turbo, pipes map sensor etc, the turbo won't boost correctly or not at all?

I have a forty minute drive or so to Fabooka for mapping that's all...

Also how would I go about setting the actuator by running logs to check for boost if the map sensor isn't reading correctly/at all?

Thanks for your help

I'm far from an expert just know what I've read on here but it's not a big job swapping map sensors over if you leave arch lining out(or remove it when you want to swap it

Not sure exactly but I know it won't boost properly I wouldn't risk driving 40mins with it for a 5 min job to swap

Don't know anything about setting actuator I'm sure someone will be along soon enough to help more than I can

I think you're right there, not worth risking the drive if it is as simple as that. I'd be cruising with the trucks anyway fearing the stock map could somehow damage the turbo (silly I know!!). I have read that the map sensor can be a little bit short and a bit of a stretch to fit, but haven't measured up or even bought one yet! Was going to get one ordered with the turbo and downpipe.

I have spoken to John/Fabooka, he has yet to get back to me as he is away he said, but I will fire my 'how to set up actuator' questions at him.

I'll need to buy myself a vcds lead first, and download some software I assume.
