Skoda "Big Event"

Featured Replies

Bit late for me now but I have just received an e-mail from Skoda advertising the above and offering 0% finance on a PCP plus £500 of free fuel with every new car between 15-25 January.

It doesn't mention if there are any other benefits from the "Big Event".

I'm sure others must have received it as well.

I think there is also a £1000 loyalty bonus....but NOT applicable to loyal customers paying with cash.

The £500 free fuel must be claimed within 3 months of vehicle handover.

I drive a low annual mileage, so the offer is only worth £250 to me.

Store the fuel somewhere or sell it. Job done.

huh?

What has your mileage got to do with it? You get a Credit Card with £500 of credit on it. You can use that for anything not just fuel.

The part claimed within 3 months of handover means your dealer has to complete the paper work.

Thanks for clarifying this, M12MKD.

I have misinterpreted the small print on the email I received from Skoda.

No problems, FYI - the card should arrive in the post about a month after you take ownership of the car, then a week later the log-on details to activate it.

If you do not get it at this point chase up with your dealer.

Only annoying thing is you have to keep an eye on the running total, towards the end you need to put the exact amount in the take that's left on the card.

I just used the big event promo this weekend. I doubt I'd have jumped back into a scud without it.
