Anyone know the dimensions of the boot floor in the Estate?

 

Wanted to know whether my existing S2 carpet mat will fit?

 

I don't have an answer to your question but would like to add a comment made by the salesman when we placed our order for our new S3 Estate.

 

We wanted to order a rubber mat similar to the one that we have in our S2 Estate. None available as yet was his reply except for the plastic boot dish. Didn't want that since we will have the adjustable boot floor.

 

When we said that we would then move our old mat over to the new car he said that the S2 mat was narrower due to fitting within the metal runs on each side of the boot. Could be that he just wanted the mat since we were part exchanging the S2.

 

So I'm guessing, the mat will fit but will be "smaller".

Hmm, hear what you are saying but the carpet mat sits over the metal runners each side, not in-between.

OK, then we must have something different in our Estate. It is a rubber mat and it sits in-between making it look long and narrow. We bought it from our Skoda dealership when we picked up our car a little more than five years ago (MY2011). Just had a look at an old accessories brochure that I have and it had article number 3T9 061 190B. Hope that helps add a little clarity. Looking at the old brochure I can see that there was also a textile mat that sat over the runners.

That's what I have. I don't use the runners, pointless.

As far as I remember it's 1 meter across and 1.17 meter along there is a post that I posted about five months ago asking this question and a couple of people were kind enough to measure it for me. Maybe some help in finding, I marked the post ANSWERED. Also Honest John review has the measurements. Can't measure mine as I'm still****** waiting for it.

Just for info, my S2 carpet mat fits.

Width ways perfect, length ways it's perhaps couple of centimetres shorter, but ok for me.
