What steering setting do you use?

Featured Replies

I'm interested to know what steering settings others have your car on for everyday use? I do like the sport feel but generally use normal for easier relaxing driving.

Sport or normal?

Generally leave the whole setup in sport until the stupid vibrator gets on my nerves and I put it back in normal.

Keep thinking to unplug it but I'm changing the car this year so can't be bothered.

I've had my sound lowered to 30 percent so that isn't a problem!

Yes andyvee did it for me he's great with it! Also I'm told if you pop into a dealer they will set it for you if it gets on your nerves like it did me! 30% is perfect!

Sport for the steering. Can't be doing with light steering I hate it.

The whole lot would be in sport except the sound generator thing gets on me t*ts. Quite like it in normal though, the volume is about right imo.

I switch between normal and sport steering, I find if I've been driving in normal for a few days I appreciate sport that much more

+1 vote for sport setting, normal is too easy.

Individual mode; steering in sport and engine in normal (too loud in sport).

Sport...normal is too light for my tastes.

I like the soundaktor...though on mine in individual mode I can set the sport noise to eco..then it doesnt make any noise. MIB2 equipped cars have this capability.

Normal, and I disconnected the sound generator after the three mile drive home from the supplying dealer.

I don't use sport mode at all now, I have fitted a DTUK tuning box and their pedal ecu, they totally change how the car drives.

Prefer normal too. I have everything on sport except the steering on normal for individual settings which I find best for relaxed motorway driving.

I have mine Eco as I'm around town driving 90% of the time and prefer the light feel (read lazy :)) but when on track I have it in sports.

I only have normal. :(

IMO the steering seems too light when driving at speed in normal mode.

I use all the features of sport mode except the noise generator as the 'growl' of the engine through the dash just seems pointless.

engine in sport, everything else in normal

I too have the steering in Sport, and everything else in Normal.

You've got the engine in Sport with your fuelly ? Who you driving ? Miss Daisy

Individual Profile:

Steering - Sport

Engine - Sport

Headlights - Sport

Air Con - Normal

Sound - Normal

I find the normal steering a little too light for my liking, even at times I think Sport is too light.

steering in sport for me. I found the normal setting too vague on the motorway.

Seemed to have a sharper response when I first did it, so just left it like that. Miss Daisy hides in the boot (trunk?)

Steering feels fine in normal

Individual Profile:

Steering - Sport

Engine - Normal

Headlights - Sport

Air Con - Eco, except in winter as demist (is it the right word?) is not enough

and using the gear shift to get the engine in sport mode whenever I want.
