Bonnet Strut.

Featured Replies

Hi, anyone got a definitive bonnet strut conversion specifically for a 2011 Skoda Octavia?

I can find 'universal' kits on-line, I suppose that would be grand if I was given the go ahead by someone on here who knows!!

Do you mean bonnet lifter?

If so check out super skoda :)

Super Skoda sell a kit specifically for each model

youtube vid from superskoda......

Did you order it? I just went to order one and they've sold out and someone bought one an hour ago :(

I got one through the group buy from a couple of years back, IMO much nicer than the manual strut. I also sprayed the brackets body colour for a more OEM look.post-95660-0-01249200-1454003243_thumb.jpg

Haha no not yet, but I will..... Thanks everyone that's exactly what I'm looking for

the mk2 version is no longer listed on the superskoda website.

can't order it :(

Yep same sold out. I've emailed asking when they'll get more I'll post here when they reply.

He said no date atm but not in the near future. Might be a bit of a wait then :(

Bloody hell I was gonna get one of them too!!!

Need a honey comb grill too :-/

I saw it in stock in the day and thought should I order it now or when I get home. Wish I hadn't waited.

I was one of a few that bought a strut from superskoda on a group buy last year, and not the only one to find that the bonnet did not sit flush against the wing line. I was not the only one to fit and then remove it as it far too obvious that something was wrong.

Did many find this to be the issue?

Thats put me off then tbh. Unless they make a revision i'll just stick with the stock bar.
