Browsing maplins the other day and i saw this:

It seems quite good value and an interesting little gadget to have with some cool features. Has anyone else seen it or got one?

Quite tempted to try one.

You can get a Bluetooth OBDII dongle from Amazon for a fiver.

Oh ok, and will that do the exact same thing? If so, it's maybe not such good valie then! This says it can do things like keep track of mileage and stuff so you can easily see how many miles you've done if you claim for business miles like i do which i thought was good.

With something like the torque app on Android you can do basic fault code reading and read live data.

I use a good old pen and paper to keep track of my business mileage.

You can't leave the dongle plugged in all the time as it is always powered, even when the ignition is off.
