they are indeed questionable, however every time someone has made a legal advance on them, they havent been able to touch them at all. Survived for nearly 6 years without a legal battle

I think that says more about the russian legal system than anything else

It wasn't the legal aspect that bothered me either. I was just concerned about eg virus' or someone making off with my credit card details. I joined last night but stopped short of crediting my account until I'd got some feedback off here. The site also seems to be popular on ukmkivs.

Legalities are that Russia has no internet laws and can do as they please!

Been using for a couple of months with no stories to tell, horrer or otherwise.

I have been using allofmp3.com for a long time now, and have downloaded many GB's of that site.

They are a legal site under russian law, and pay royalties to the artists just like itunes, just not as much as the record companies would like. The RIAA have tried and failed to close them down because they are operating within russian copyright law.

I like allofmp3 as for nearly all the cd's you can pick your own bitrate, all the way upto lossless CDDA.

Another site thats good for music is mp3search.ru , another russian site simillar to above except cheaper. Each track on this site is 10c, and whole albums can be downloaded for a discount.

I've downloaded many albums off allofmp3.com, however I stopped when I ran out of credit and they stopped accepting Paypal. I didn't like the idea of giving my CC details to the Russian Mafia LOL.

I know what you mean Josh, I was worried at first but discovered that the billing site is a trusted one based outside Russia. I have had no issues with the many CC transactions I have made. They use chronopay to process the transactions, card numbers etc. are not sent to allofmp3

I think Paypal aren't playing ball with them due to what the rest of the world would consider 'the questionable nature' of what allofmp3 are doing. Paypal don't want to get caught in the middle of a ****storm if it ever comes to that.

Been using them myself for nearly 12 months now and topped up many times without issue. As stated you can select the quality and downloads are quick and the MP3 are of great quality. In fact just downloaded $25 worth last night.

Find myself initially getting MP3 copies of a lot of my old vinyl so can play in the Car, before moving to the more recent stuff. Like the fact I can use it on my MP3 Player, cut to as many CD's as I want for the Car and have on the PC.

I have used ALLOFMP3 for over 2 years, NEVER had any issues with the CC details. Well thats my 2p of input

What quality are you all using to download?

Is it right I use Nero to convert the files so I can play in the fab vrs cd player?
