My front pads need to be replaced and the disks are looking pretty worn too. Ideally I'd like to get some Yellowstuff pads for it, but EBC don't seem to make them (or ANY brakes)... In fact, I'm having a hard time finding any aftermarket pads/disks anywhere.

 

Does anyone know if there are any that are a direct fit (Golf GTD?) off the shelf?  I know the standard brakes are good out of the box, but there's no harm in making them a bit better!

 

The car is a 2014 Octavia TDi VRS estate.

Thanks dude, but they don't list the Octavia III on there - nowhere does, that I can find. Can't believe nobody makes aftermarket brakes for it!

Are they not the same as the golf r ?? 340mm disc or the Audi tts ?

Does the vRS TDI get 312mm and the TSI get 340mm?

Both get 340's.

They however dont get the 310mm vented discs the Golf GTI gets with the PP....all variants of the Mk3 seem to share what I believe are 272mm solids.

Any luck with this as I'm also struggling to find anything? My mate who's a mechanic said he's sorced ebc pads but waiting for him to confirm tomorrow.

Not 100 percent but I'm sure the tsi has bigger brakes! The same as what's on the gti performance pack

On the fronts that is and just read up that they use same fronts as the diesel rs

I'd just like to find some pads for my little 1.4 TSI, Europarts shows two sizes even when I've put in the Reg. No. ????

Had the same with my Mk2 also, which no matter what anybody's system said it had the vRS brakes ??? So I stuck Red Stuff in with drilled and grooved discs, it did stop but, those red ones do take some bedding in.
