Engine Cover Rubber Grommet / Socket

Featured Replies

Blimey, wasn't expecting this to be so difficult!

After searching on here and on Google I've literally got a list of potential part numbers the length of my arm.

The rubber bungs which the plastic engine cover pushes into have perished resulting in the engine cover being loose.

I can't see any part numbers on the items themselves.

This is what mine look like...

The only ones I can find that are similar is part number: 03G 103 184 C but they look a bit different to mine...

Anyone know for sure!?

Reminds me I must check mine. I replaced the bung that the engine cover slides into near the bulkhead. The cover seems to rattle like mad 6 months later again. Never thought to check these ones. [emoji106]

Been out to check mine again, I have 5 rather than the usual 4.

The ones linked earlier from www.skodaparts.com will fit I'm sure of it.

£0.89 x 5 = £4.45 + £4.99 (postage) = £9.44 delivered.

Just ordered 5 of them from Rainworth Skoda over the phone.

£1.00 each including delivery.

Picked some up from my local TPS the other week.

Something like 79p each

Unfortunately my nearest TPS is over in Leeds, a good 20 odd miles away.

The local Skoda dealer (DM Keith) won't be getting any more of my heard-earned, even a fiver  :D

Damn I ordered them from skodaparts this morning!

That's the weird thing, www.skodaparts.com is the same as Rainworth Skoda!

Scroll down to the bottom of their website, the host - Bickerton Group includes Rainworth Skoda.

Ordering over the phone saved me a fiver!

I sent them an email yesterday asking to cancel the transaction and refund me.

Got an email this morning saying they have refunded me! :)
