1.2 86 service interval

Featured Replies

are these annually or on variable

when i had the citigo the stealers had phoned me about 2 months before its first birthday to book her in

i had a fall out with the selling dealer last august so wondered if thats why they hadn't phoned or it was on variable

i have the service plan and wondered if i could use a different dealer if it is annually

Could be either.. but most likely Fixed from the factory.

in which case its 10k miles or 1 year.

Dealers do just jump the gun abit. I've been getting texts trying to get me to book mine in for an MOT for about 2 weeks now. Its not due until the 6th March... and it certainly wont be going to them.

I live in London but bought my new Roomie from a dealer in Portsmouth because of the price. Since then I have had the car serviced at Harlow, Essex my local dealer. When I bought it it was on Variable service as stated on the label and Servicing booklet. The car was 18-months old with 9k on the clock when the oil change message appeared on the display. When they changed the oil the computer was programmed to fixed servicing. It does not matter who services the vehicle as long as the garage is a Skoda partner (approved independent garage) or approved dealer

thanks for the answers

i'll phone rainworth tommorow and check then book it in elsewhere

I'd of thought the service plan is with Skoda UK and not the dealer themselves.

but i wouldnt like to put money on it :D

did you get any paperwork with the service plan that might say?

Sorry I did not realise you had a plan. My sister-in-law had the free three-year servicing offer when she bought her new Fabia. She bought the car in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk but has it serviced in Harlow, also with no problems
